Ben and Kelly Naylor are the owners of That’s Handy and set it up in 2020.

This business feels like coming home to us after a detour called life that lasted “a few years”….

While we are passionate about gardening, what really brings a smile to our faces is helping others. Learning who our clients are, is important to us, as each garden is as individual as its owner. Growing this relationship helps us understand who our clients are, and what they want out of their garden.

As High School Sweethearts who have known each other since they were 11, they worked together in a nursery in their late teens. They set up their own little nursery in Kelly’s parent’s back yard and sold plants at markets.

Ben also worked as a landscaper, school caretaker and had his own gardening clients prior to joining MPI (or MAF as it was known back then) working in Quarantine after finishing University. MAF training at the time included studying and passing exams on plant (and animal) biology and their associated pests and diseases.
